Sorry about not posting in a long time. I couldn't afford internet anymore and couldn't get on. Heck I even now am forgetting how half this site works. But its time to get the Pub back up and running. I missed all kinds of good stuff like Ryan Mallet kicking but or even tejada finally making a kick (miracle i think so). Basketball was a big dissapoiontment but we have good young players so its just hoping and wishing for the future. Track did ok, darn gators. And baseball made it to the super regionals for the 2nd straight year. i sure hope we can keep it up. I would like to hear some thoughts on the upcoming football season, isn't it our turn to finally win an SEC championship and go to the BCS. But is are defense good enough/does it have to be good enought. I need some input.

Come on guys! Will the hogs ever win a National Championship in baseball? Weve come so close so many times lately. Well its all good now we only have to beat a great Virginia Team and an Excellent LSU team twice. But I know we can do it it will be hard but winning a National Championship isn't supposed to be easy. Plus the Hogs have definately exceeded my expectations this year we are a young team and next year we will be back to omaha agian. Any way my question for you guy's is .

Will the hogs win it this year and will the hogs be back to win in next year?

Welcome to arkansas sports pub. I created this because there are many colleges that do not have groups and I feel they need a place to talk about how there school is doing. Also there may not be a ton of fans for some sports but these sports in arkansas need to be appriciated such as golf (our mens team lost in the championship to Texas A&M), swimming, tennis, and especially track we don't talk much on cbs about track but as arkansas fans we should it is one sport arkansas has dominated for many many years. I also want people to have discussions about there highschool sports I know we are all proud of the highschool we went to or our children go to so blog about the local team. I myself grew up in gravette, ar which is a 4a school in arkansas and there baseball team made it to state this year and football did well. This group is to be proud of your state. Enjoy!
